For once I'm feeling a little bit bored which at least gives me a chance to blog about something. I normally find if I get bored towards the late evening I tend to force myself to just go to bed. In this case though I don't feel the need to nor do I feel drastically tired.

I just finished watching one of Nintendo's 'Nintendo Direct' videos for European releases and I was surprised not to find any info on a release date for their new 3DS model. At the moment I obviously don't have the need for one because of the Wii U and I'm not sure whether it's worth selling off my limited edition Pokemon 3DS just for that one. I'd rather wait when the time comes though.

Speaking of the Wii U I didn't realise that I've already had the console for almost 2 weeks now, I kept thinking it was only a week ago. I've managed to make a bit more use out of it this week thankfully and playing a bit further with Bayonetta. It's nice to be able to own a Wii U version of it now when it was a game I was planning to revisit a while back after having to force delete the save game files after the first hard drive replacement.

Generally I feel OK with the Wii U. I bought an expandable battery for the controller last week which has more battery life than it's original stock counterpart, so I took advantage of it and you can tell there's a big difference.

I also purchased a quick charging station made by Nintendo which is nice to finally see them make this sort of thing. The idea is that you can charge it without the need of removing a battery. They also designed the controller jacket so that it has a hole cut around it for the battery to charge directly to the station. It's not something I can see myself hardly using especially for anything related to those type of Wii waggle controls. However it will be something that's bound to be used for such a console.
